We have two separate hiking and accommodation venues: De Wildt Adventure Trails & Cheetah Lodge. Located approximately 30 minutes from Pretoria and 45 minutes from Johannesburg close to Hartbeespoort. Offering you a space where you can become one with nature  and soak up the full beauty of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains. Offering you the opportunity to escape reality and recharge your soul through hiking or trail running, followed by a picnic, braai or something from our restaurant. Embrace the rustic charm of our campsite or immerse yourself in the elegant comforts our Cheetah Lodge brings.

Trails

We have two separate hiking venues. De Wildt Cheetah Lodge & Trails and De Wildt Adventure Trails.  Offering  a wide range of hikes and something for everyone whether you are a novice, advanced hiker or trail runner. 

All of our trails at De Wildt Adventure Trails   are even pet friendly!

Accommodation

We offer a variety of different accommodation options for guests. From rustic charm at our De Wildt Adventure trails to glamping and lodge suites at our Cheetah Lodge. Whichever accommodation you choose you are guaranteed to be immersed into the tranquil beauty offered by the Magaliesberg Mountains.

Events & Functions

De Wildt Cheetah Lodge offers the ideal environment for a variety of events and functions. If you are looking for a wedding or conference venue offering value for money, then our quaint chapel, tranquil gardens and multi-facet conference room is for you!

-    Entrance to day hikes closes at 12h00
(Guests needs to be on the trail prior to 12h00)
-    Venue close at 17h30
(plan your hike that you are out of the mountain latest 17h00)
-    Sunset & sunrise hikes by appointment only.

-    Honesty box. (Use the "Honesty Box" Icon under the chosen trails page to make a booking)
